DR. MICHELE LOB
Dr, Michele Lob and her associates offer expertise in treating coexisting addictions and mental and behavioral disorders. Dr. Lob holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and is a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist. She specializes in counseling individuals, and couples and families suffering from addictive behaviors. The treatment of eating disorders, chemical and alcohol dependency, and other self-harm behaviors form an integral part of her practice.
With over 12 years experience as a clinician, Dr. Lob is currently working as a private practitioner specializing in clients suffering from addictive behaviors. Dr. Lob also serves as the Program Director of a nationally-reknowned Eating Disorder and Alcohol and Chemical Dependency Residential Treatment Program located in the Newport Beach area.
Dr. Lob is a practical, interactive, solution-focused therapist. Her treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing unhealthy patterns of behaviors. She incorporates a blend of conventional and alternative approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques such as cognitive behavioral and sandtray therapies to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, she works with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.
